Challenge for the Week
Recall times in your life when you thought you would receive harsh judgment and criticism, but received compassion and grace instead. Do likewise this week for others.

Lenten Challenge
As we heard at the Ash Wednesday service, Jack is challenging us to make positive changes over the next 40 days. Following is the list of 10 suggestions which he proposed.
1. Write down something you are grateful for every day.
2. Say something positive to someone each day (and no, it shouldn't be the same person each day!).
3. Read something positive for 30 minutes every day.
4. Sit quietly for 10 minutes every day.
5. Fast one meal a week and donate the money you save to ________ (fill in the blank with your choice of person or organization).
6. Refuse gossip. Do not spread rumors. (If you didn't see it with your eyes, don't witness it with your mouth. ~Jewish Proverb)
7. Do not complain. Become the solution.
8. Exercise daily.
9. Read your Bible for a minimum of 10 minutes every day.
10. Forgive daily. Begin by forgiving yourself.
