A Letter from Pastor Brian:
March 20, 2020
Grace, health and peace to you from God our Creator and the Son, Jesus Christ!
As the Governor has now issued a shelter in place order, it is incumbent on us to re-think how we do things until things return to normal or, at least, a semblance of normal.
With all of this said, starting on Monday, March 23rd, the office will be closed until further notice, and the staff will be working from home. This does mean that staff are unable to get voicemails. If you need to get in contact with any of us, email is the best way to do so.
Worship will be adapted to a personal message, readings from Scriptures, and prayer with me from my home on RUMC Facebook page every Sunday at 9:00 am. It will also be accessible on Facebook at any time following.
Needless to say, all of this may change. Things are changing at such a rapid pace, it can knock us off-balance, and we hope to alleviate that for you all, with God’s help.
Please check your email and Facebook often to receive any further instructions and information as we will do our utmost to keep you informed (and there will be more to come!) Also, if there is someone you know from our church family who is not reachable by email, please call them and let them know what’s happening.
And remember, God’s got this!
