Rochester is located in central Illinois just a few miles south and east of Springfield on Route 29. From Springfield: Take Rt. 29 south. At the second stoplight in Rochester, turn right onto South Walnut Street. The Rochester United Methodist Church is approximately ¼ mile on the right hand side. From Taylorville: Take Rt. 29 north. At the second stoplight in Rochester, turn left onto South Walnut Street. The Rochester United Methodist Church is approximately ¼ mile on the right hand side.
