Mary Fox, Office Manager

Mary Fox has been the RUMC church secretary for 16 years. She has an Associate's Degree from Lincoln College. Mary has three grown children. She and her husband, John, have lived in Rochester for 27 years.

Katie Holt, Director of Youth Ministry 

Katie joined the RUMC staff in July, 2008 as the Director of Youth Ministry.  She received her bachelor's degree in Religion from Illinois Wesleyan University and worked at Marquette University prior to joining the staff at RUMC.  Katie, her husband Gene, son Samuel and dog Abby reside in Springfield.

Janis Swank, Parish Nurse

Janis has served as our Parish Nurse since 2005. She has an Associate's degree in Nursing from Kaskaskia College and a BA from McKendree College. Janis received her Parish Nurse Training from St. John's Hospital. She has two grown children and six grandchildren. Janis, her three dogs, and her husband, Jack, all live in Rochester.

Linda Fairchild, Sanctuary Choir Director


Linda Fairchild has been choir director at Rochester United Methodist Church for 16 years. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree in 1960 and an MS degree in 1988. She and husband Roger reside on a farm east of Rochester. They are the parents of 4 grown children, and have 4 grand-children and 2 great-grandchildren.

David McCafferty, Director of Contemporary Worship

David serves as the director and arranger for "The Bridge." During the week, David teaches vocal music at Rochester Middle School and is also the district percussion coordinator. David, his wife, Tish, and their two children live in Rochester.



 

Stephen Wilson, Director of Spiritual Formation

Claudia Cross, Office Assistant 

Claudia joined the RUMC staff in July 2007 as an office assistant. Claudia has one daughter and a grandson.
